More Places In Singapore To Build Epic Sandcastles!

Posted by Benjamin Lee on

In addition to the places we highlighted in our blog post about playgrounds with sand pits, here are a few more places you can bring your kids and your Quut Beach Toys!

Tiong Bahru Adventure Playground

Tiong Bahru Park #1

This playground isn't near a beach, and it isn't very big, but it features this amazing looking topsy-turvy train and a zip line that will occupy your kids for a while. It's located a short walk from Tiong Bahru MRT station and Tiong Bahru Mall

Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park

This amazing park separates Ang Mo Kio from Bishan, and a river runs through it. It is so well built that the other reason to visit this park (apart from the two sandpit areas in this huge park), is the much-loved family of otters that have made their home here. Their journey is just as amazing: They're likely from Malaysia, but have made their way across the straits, through our canal system, and finally deciding to stay permanently in the half natural, half artificial waterway in the park. If you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the happy family while you're there!

Labrador Park Playground

Labrador Nature Reserve is a great place, and there's the Boardwalk along the coast facing Sentosa. But the super sandy playground is where you can fully utilise your Quut Beach Toys! There are a few interesting historical surprises nearby, such as WWII-era machine gun posts, and the remnants of what was once known as Keppel Harbour.

Punggol Waterway Park

Located on the northeast shore of Singapore, this is one of the newest parks, and it is great for a day of cycling and water play. There's a playground with a sandpit  just by the waterway.
